Four friends reunite for a wild camping trip on Dartmoor, but as friendships are tested, the lake beneath them begins to feed on their fears, dragging them into a haunting fight for survival.

Developed through Scream Queens - a horror script lab supported by BFI and Shorties - It Sees Within is a 15 minute horror short that acts as a stand alone and proof of concept.

The film explores themes of identity, societal pressures and personal aspirations that women navigate in their early thirties.

The horror is inspired by a myth - Crazywell Pool - where legend states if you look into the pool on Midsummers Eve, you’ll see the reflection of the person who is next to die.​
