Shadow Peak is an interactive, supernatural horror series that lets the audience take control of the narrative. Episodes are released every 48 hours with two choices at the end. The audience votes for the choice they would like to see and whichever is the most popular, gets released.

Season 1 was created as an experimental series solely to be released on Instagram back when the limits for uploading videos were one minute. We wanted to find out whether offering choices would drive audience engagement. It absolutely did.
The story followed a young couple, Casey and Robbie as they set out for a hike in the forest. The audience took on the roles of Casey or Robbie, deciding what each character did next. The tension built with each episode as viewers discovered that Robbie had led Casey into an otherworldly situation. How Casey navigated out of this was in the hands of the audience:

Episode 5: Casey to 'Trust' Robbie rather than 'Not Trust'
The choices made in Season 1 shaped how we developed Season 2 — from Casey’s character arc to the world of Shadow Peak and the decisions we present to the audience. Even with these six initial episodes, we saw a strong community forming and a dedicated fan base emerging for the future.

Season 2 picks up one year later and we follow Casey in the aftermath as she finds herself being pulled back into the world of Shadow Peak. What she learns along the way, the choices she makes and how she ultimately decides her fate, will be in the hands of the audience once again.

Creating Shadow Peak has been a dream project. What started off as a zero-budget, wild idea has grown into a fully fleshed out world. From hundreds of hours of online writing sessions, crowdfunding campaigns and funding submissions, this project has truly been a labor of love. We couldn’t have done this without our amazing cast, crew, and the incredible support from our community.
As big fans of the horror genre ourselves, we set out to create a world for this community. Something you can immerse yourself in, engage with, and feel like you're a part of. After every episode of Season 2, we’ll be releasing a “Behind the Episode” feature, giving you an inside look at how each episode came to life.
